What do we hope to achieve?

To live this new life stage in a healthy, community-oriented environment alongside people of other generations —with independence, freedom, and security—where we can receive and offer support when needed to live life to the fullest. And, when the time comes, to be able to say goodbye in a safe, warm, joyful, and compassionate place

What stage are we at?

  • We have a 12-hectare property in Arcos de la Frontera, one of the most beautiful towns in Spain, on the route of the white villages. A wonderful natural setting between the Sierra de Grazalema and the beaches of Cádiz, in a lush Mediterranean pine forest, with views of Arcos, a lake, and the surrounding mountains.

  • We have established a multidisciplinary technical team including doctors, psychologists, economists, architects, lawyers, and environmental specialists, working on its design and implementation.

    What are we currently seeking?

We are looking for the involvement of active local and regional organizations to identify the needs of this population group within our municipality and the broader district it belongs to.

We also aim to connect with the community, through social and healthcare institutions, to coordinate and provide recreational, cultural, and therapeutic activities via our Foundation.

    ""

We are developing sustainable housing models.

Defining the membership and operational criteria of the project:

    • Age: 15 people over 60 with full autonomy and 5 requiring support with some activities of daily living.

    • Vulnerability: difficulty accessing housing, unwanted loneliness.

    • And regarding proportionality in the initial age stages: 60 to 70 years – 65%; 70 to 80 years – 20%; 80 to 90 years – 10%; 90 to 100 years – 5%.

      How will we measure success?

      "Adosados

      • There will be around 10 small houses: 5 single units and 5 for two people. All will be arranged in a semicircle around a beautiful central courtyard that is both cozy and protected, yet open.

      • Each cabin will feature a cozy loft-style space, spacious, with large beautiful windows that connect with nature, an independent bathroom, an adapted shower, and completely barrier-free. The space will include a sleeping area with a bed and wardrobes, a work area with a desk and shelves, and a sitting area with a sofa-chair and table. There will also be a small kitchenette.

There will be another building designed to meet the accessibility and care needs of 5 people who require assistance with daily living activities.
