A community housing space for people over the age of 60—individuals who wish to share their lives autonomously with others from different generations in a comfortable and safe environment, where they can offer their knowledge, experience, skills, and genuine wisdom to the wider community. This is what we call generativity. It is also a space for people who, due to health conditions or reduced autonomy, require care, support, and basic health assistance. Ultimately, it is a place to enjoy life in the company of others, with care, comfort, and shared activities.
Dream Fulfilled
A space of community housing for people over 65 years old. People who, due to economic fragility, loneliness, or a desire to share daily life, need a comfortable, secure place that facilitates exchange among themselves, and allows them to in turn offer knowledge, experience, skills, resources, and genuine wisdom to the rest of the community. What we call generativity. Also others who, due to health situations and lack of autonomy, need care, accompaniment, and basic health attention. In short, a place to enjoy the last stage of life in company, care, comfort, and shared functionality with others. And perhaps also to say goodbye to it in a safe, warm, and human home.

What do we hope to achieve?

What stage are we at?

What are we currently seeking?

We are looking for the involvement of active local and regional organizations to identify the needs of this population group within our municipality and the broader district it belongs to.

We also aim to connect with the community, through social and healthcare institutions, to coordinate and provide recreational, cultural, and therapeutic activities via our Foundation.

We are developing sustainable housing models.

How will we measure success?

  • There will be around 10 small houses: 5 single units and 5 for two people. All will be arranged in a semicircle around a beautiful central courtyard that is both cozy and protected, yet open.
  • Each cabin will feature a cozy loft-style space, spacious, with large beautiful windows that connect with nature, an independent bathroom, an adapted shower, and completely barrier-free. The space will include a sleeping area with a bed and wardrobes, a work area with a desk and shelves, and a sitting area with a sofa-chair and table. There will also be a small kitchenette.

There will be another building designed to meet the accessibility and care needs of 5 people who require assistance with daily living activities.
