About Us

We are the place where dreams anchor to the earth without losing their light. Where bread is kneaded with stories, wounds are stitched with threads of hope, and sunsets hold alchemical secrets. We believe in the magic of the small, crafted with love. And each day is a new seed.

Marta Trujillo Fuentes, after whom this foundation is named, was a great dreamer.

What she lived and achieved was made from the material of dreams.

The present did not feel like a place to plant and nurture her roots, and the past could not define her.

The future, the dream, was what moved her.

The Birth of a Dream

The foundation that carries her name, MARTA T.F – Tejiendo Futuro (Weaving the Future) –, whose origin came when she ‘returned home’ – leaving our world –, was established to enhance the quality of life for mothers, children, daughters, and sons, and to ensure that men and women can lead a <strongkinder, less lonely life.

Our dream is for people to have the chance to ask the same essential questions Marta asked, and in seeking answers, to be able to believe and grow, to learn, and to nurture generosity and solidarity.

So they can see that feeling alone is an illusion, that Humanity is present Here and Now, and that we are ONE whenever love, in all its forms, overcomes isolation and the painful fiction of loneliness.

And that reminder and commitment are essential, especially during all the major life transitions: birth, adolescence, motherhood and caregiving, and old age.

Vision

A place where the different ‘activity hubs’ are economically self-sustaining and mutually supportive. The projects that coexist there will provide people with greater and better resources for their health and their full development. A place where both the environmental and human ecosystems are respected, respectful, and sustainable.

MIsion

  • Creation of intergenerational living spaces,
  • Support for women who are alone and experiencing recent or imminent motherhood,
  • Community housing space for people over the age of 60,
